Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Their father is Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English origin. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan that included six children. Four of them are siblings who were born from the same marriage as Taylor's dad. They lived together within Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 years old before they relocated to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English in hopes that she could return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. After 16 she left the school to take on acting as a profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to become an actress and the dream became a reality when she was approached for the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
