Harry Edward Styles is an English musician, singer, and musician from England. He was a member of One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own musical band with 3 schoolmates, which was named White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. The musician always had an interest in music. However, he was enthused to be the next lawyer or physical therapist. To support his family, he worked some time at a baker's shop. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. His group was compelled to disband due to this. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group began in 2010 and the five young people were funded by Simon Cowell. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which made them one of the top contenders for winning the contest. However, they finished third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Even though Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco Record label.
