Anita Ekberg
Anita Ekberg is a Swedish actor from Sweden. She appeared in various films, including European and American. The most famous of her roles was playing the role of 'La Dolce Vita,' a comedy-drama film. In 1960, the film was awarded with the Golden Palm and an Oscar by the Cannes Film Festival. The film also had the success of critics and consumers. Before beginning her acting profession she worked as a model in the fashion world. The model was the winner of the Miss Sweden competition. In the US the actress began to appear in movies, albeit with a minor role. Her first credited role was in the movie "Abbott & Costello Go to Mars In the film, she played an Venusian guard. In the same year she received her Golden Globe in the category of 'Most Outstanding Newcomer' for her performance in the film 'Blood Alley.
